Russell Shoemaker, vendeur de technologie (sick !), se réveille tout seul comme un pôvre un beau matin dans un monde post-apocalyptique qui semble bien être celui dans lequel il s’était endormi le soir avant, mais où toutes les technologies “modernes” semblent avoir disparu. Même que sa famille a disparu, elle aussi, ainsi que la plupart du reste du monde. Quel méli-mélo ! On pense rapidement à une bombe EMP, à une conspiration de quelqu’un contre quelqu’un d’autre, à la main punitive de Dieu et tutti frutti :

Afterworld est une série d’animation/roman-photo d’un genre nouveau (vraiment ?) diffusée sur gratuitement le web via YouTube. Le tout est hebdomadaire pour l’instant, et nous fera l’honneur d’un épisode quotidien à partir de mai prochain :
